The WWW@UT Project

This project will involve the creation of a video oral history archive to be housed at the Center for the Cultural Record here at GSLIS. Students from both graduate and undergraduate level courses at GSLIS will research, design, collect, and present a series of video oral history interviews with the people responsible for the creation, growth, and utilization of the WWW here at the University of Texas.

The WWW will officially be a decade old here at UT on October 21st, 2002, and our intention with this project is to have an initial round of interviews complete by this date ( and have a Birthday Party!) We welcome participation by all campus units in helping to archive and preserve this historic decade for future generations!
