What
she does: Teaches
workshops in preservation activities such as book repair, archival
holdings maintenance, security, and photo preservation; conducts
site surveys and disaster preparedness assessments in libraries
and archives throughout the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona,
New Mexico and Arkansas; provides referrals and disseminates information
to clients.
How PCS prepared her for her job: "The education I received
from PCS provided me with a great base of knowledge. If I do not
know the answer to a problem immediately, I know whom to contact
and which resources to consult. In my travels I meet a lot of people
who are familiar with the PCS program. People are very impressed
by all of the great work that the graduates are doing in the field."
