Course Project: Marketing the El Paso Public Library
Objectives of the Project:
- Assess the basic needs of the community for information about the El Paso Public Library.
- Identify methods to address the communitys various needs for information about the El Paso Public Library.
- Develop a creative promotional campaign about the El Paso Public Library based on #1 and #2 above, to include (but not limited to):
- Printed materials (brochures, etc.)
- Media campaign
- Web site
This will be a class project, and all class members are expected to work together as a team to complete it. The team will submit the following for evaluation:
- Examples of all materials for the promotional campaign, including a layout of the web site. (15 points per class member)
- A written summary of the methods used to arrive at conclusions about #1-3 above. (15 points per class member)
- An oral presentation which involves all member of the team that explains the methods used and demonstrates the promotional campaign. (15 points per class member)
- Evidence of the role that each team member played in completion of the project (5 points per class member)
Total possible points per student: 50
