GSLIS ACCOUNT Assignment Title: Establish GSLIS Account and Provide Email Addresses. Participation: Individual. Format: Email. Submission Method: Email to course emailbox. Maximum points: Part of course participation. Introduction: Several assignments in this course require you to have a GSLIS account and to use it, so that you will gain experience in working in a Unix-based environment, setting up Webpages, and uploading and downloading files. This assignment provides an opportunity for you to gain some knowledge of the account early on and to set up class email to your preferred address. The GSLIS account is where you will post your Web pages and experiment with Pine, which is the Unix-based GSLIS email system. You may also set up an email account with the University of Texas at Austin (viz., mail.utexas.edu). If you choose, you may automatically forward mail from either or both of these accounts to your preferred email address. Goals: The goals of this assignment are twofold:
