Assignment Title: Establish GSLIS Account and Provide Email Addresses. Participation: Individual. Due date: 20 January 2001 Format: Email. Submission Method: Email to course emailbox. Maximum points: Part of course participation. Introduction: Many requirements of this course require a GSLIS account and familiarity with its use. This assignment provides an opportunity for students to gain some knowledge of the account early on and to set up class email to their preferred address. The GSLIS account will be where you post your web pages and experiment with PINE - the UNIX GSLIS email system. You may also set up an email account with the University of Texas and you may automatically forward mail from both these accounts to your preferred email address.
