Each student's contribution to class discussion and group work is important to provide a positive learning experience for everyone. Class participation accounts for 10% of the grade.

Students may accrue class participation credit through:

A. general discussion of results of answering questions on worksheets: 5 points

B. active participate in in-class activities, such as the construction of the electronic reference library and "Get Off the Desk!": 2 points

C. pathfinder I presentation: 1 point

D. pathfinder II presentation: 1 point

E. general participation: 1 point
