By MediaClips. Published by Aris Multimedia Entertainment, Inc. 310 Washington Blvd, Suite 100, Marina del Rey, CA 90292. This program is offered to provide you with photographic images, videos, and native audio clips that may be reproduced royalty-free in print and digital publications.
Exotic creatures and plants that are found nowhere else on earth
come alive as you explore uncharted regions of the forest. This is
not a tutorial or reference tool although there is some text to
support the images and to instruct, but a fun tool for finding
images that may be used in student reports, teaching tools, and
presentations. Electronic, camera-ready art clips can be brought
into a word processor or page layout application "as is," or edited
in a graphics design package like Adobe Illustrator, Aldus
FreeHand, or CorelDraw.
There are 100 photographic images that have excellent resolution.
Native audios accompany the 25 action videos of birds, crocodiles,
monkeys, and insects. The videos are rather choppy and very short,
10 to 30 seconds.[Top of Page]
Ease of Use
This program is very easy to use, no installation is needed and it
is simple to navigate with no hazard of getting lost. There is a
toolbox at the bottom of the screen that doesn't interfere with the
images and is accessed with a single click. These icons allow the
user to search the text with the magnifying glass, show text with
the balloon icon, copy files with the floppy button and access the
slide show. You can click anywhere to stop and online help is
available with the ? button.
