Content

Each Eyewitness Photo Gallery is a collection of 100 sharp and colorful images for a specific topic. Volumes 1-4 cover Cats, Birds, Wild Animals, and Children, respectively. Each CD-ROM is organized in the same format, and fun to view.

The initial screen displays the 100 images in a numbered order, and you can scroll through them quickly. An Information icon and a Help icon are also available, giving suggestions on how to use the images and how to navigate through the program. Clickin g on one of the pictures activates a screen which displays a close-up of the figure, the name of the animal or shot, one line of information about the animal, an Options menu, a Create Your Own feature, and a Help icon. The Options menu allows you to enlarge the picture to full-screen size, print in three sizes in either gray scale or color, save the image to disk, or copy to clipboard. The last option is a slide show which randomly displays the photos on the monitor. Clicking anywhere on the screen stops the show and takes you back to the screen with the close-up and Options menu. The Create Your Own feature allows you either to display an image permanently on your desktop or to use the image as a letterhead for stationery.
