    Commentary

This CD-ROM is well done and features actual photographs and footage of birds. The film clips are easy to replay and are not "jerky" or anything that might be expected in the running.

The information is presented as if the viewer is traveling through a museum. The user may choose which of the five tours to view. Also there is a navigator which allows the user to go to specific parts of the virtual museum. The sound effects are realistic and generally not annoying.

The only truly annoying thing was trying to figure out how to quit the program. There is no quit or exit button anywhere that I saw. I finally just double clicked on the corner to exit. This worked although I am not sure it was the "correct" way to quit.

    System Requirements

The minimum system requirements are stated within the CD-ROM jacket. They are not printed on the outside of the jacket which could be frustrating if you purchased the item only to realize after opening that your machine does not have the minimum requirements.
