DESCRIPTION OF CURRENT YOUTH/CHILDREN'S SERVICES

I believe there is immeasurable value in reading to the youth that come into our libraries. I constantly strive to encourage an enthusiasm for reading and to provide meaningful opportunities for students to have interactive discussions about literature we have shared. I try to stimulate intellectual growth and promote higher-level, critical thinking skills in relation to literature, and feel those opportunities increase with each book we are able to share together.
