Mozilla Mail

Mozilla is an open source suite of applications used for web browsing, email, or creating html pages, which can be downloaded for free from the Internet (http://www.mozilla.org/). Mozilla Mail is a POP email application that can be configured to access your School of Information email account. Select the mail icon at the bottom lefthand corner of your Mozilla browser screen – an account wizard will walk you through the process. Who should use Mozilla? Mozilla has several advantages, including its easy to use interface and price (free!). By using Mozilla, you will be supporting the open source movement. What does that mean, exactly? The source code for open source software is made available to the public, which means that it is constantly being improved and updated – as a user, you are not subject to the whims of a proprietary corporation.
