Profile Manager

If you share your computer, you'll probably want to create a personal profile so that Mozilla will restart each time with all of your favorite settings, tabs, bookmarks, and themes already running.

To Create a New Profile:

  1. To set up a new profile, you must close out of Mozilla altogether.
  2. Open the Start menu, select Programs.  Select Mozilla, then Profile Manager from the drop-down menu.

  1. Type in a name for your profile.  This can be anything you like.
  2. Choose the folder you'd like to store this profile in.
  3. Click Finish.

  1. Now when Profile Manager re-opens, your name will appear highlighted on the list of available profiles.

In the future, whenever you open Mozilla, you'll first be asked to choose a profile.  Highlight your choice.  Mozilla will re-open just the way you left it, with all of your tabs and privacy settings at the ready!
