Viewing and Removing Cookies
Mozilla allows you to view and remove cookies that have already been
stored on your drive.
- From the Cookies menu, choose Cookie
Manager.
- The Cookie Manager will open as a new
window. Notice the two tabs of options at the top: Stored Cookies
and Cookie Sites. By default, the tab Stored Cookies should be
selected when you first open the Cookie Manager. If not, please
select the Stored Cookie tab now.

- In the top panel of the menu, you'll see a list of cookies
on your drive. In the left column are the URL's of the sites that
have placed the cookies. In the right column are the file names of
those cookies.
- Scroll through the list of sites and
cookies. Each time you select a cookie, information about the nature
of the cookie will appear in the bottom portion of the menu under the
heading: Information about the selected cookie.
- To
remove the cookie, click the Remove Cookie button.
- Note that you may also remove every cookie on your machine, by
selecting Remove All Cookies.
- Once you've made your
choices, select Close to return to the main Cookies Menu.
