Time Counter

The next area to the right at the bottom of the GarageBand window displays the current location of the progress marker in the song.   Time can be measured in two ways.

When the small musical note in the lower left corner of the box is selected, the timer measures the song in measures, beats, and fractions of a beat.

The timer can also display the time marker's location in hours, minutes, and seconds.   Click on the small clock to switch to this display mode.

The song's tempo in bpm is displayed to the right of the counter.   Click on the tempo and move the sliding bar to easily adjust the song's tempo.
