About the Information eXperience LabThe Information eXperience Lab is a research facility designed to study human interaction with recorded and encoded information across a wide range of formats. The lab enables School of Information researchers to make better assessments, predictions, and designs for the information experiences of the future. The idea of "information experience" is purposefully broad and encapsulates all possible facets of human interaction with information. IX Lab researchers contribute new knowledge about how people engage with information for different purposes in an increasingly information-intensive world. Activities expand our scope of interest beyond any one particular research area (e.g., usability, information retrieval, information architecture) and remain open to all possible avenues that may lead to our ultimate goal: new discoveries that will benefit people and their engagement with information. For more information, please contact the Director of the Information eXperience Lab, Randolph Bias. Last Modified: June 03 2008 14:40:22. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
