You need a School of Information account to use the computers in the IT Lab, to claim your School of Information email address and to publish Web pages.

UT EID
Students need an EID to register online, to view grades, to use Web email and to access a number of other critical services.

IF Account
You need an IF Account to publish Web pages on UT servers, to gain access to computers in UT libraries and to use the Telesys ISP-service.

Telesys
Dial-up access to the Internet provided by the university. Telesys costs 30 cents per day, or roughly $8 per month, for unlimited access. This is an excellent deal for UT students.
