School of Information Scholarships and Financial Awards

Applicants admitted by the University of Texas Graduate and International Admission Center (GIAC) AND the School of Information by FEBRUARY 1ST are automatically considered for iSchool academic awards.

iSchool awards (scholarships) are based on academic excellence. Award recipients must take 3 courses or 9 credit hours each semester and maintain a 3.75 GPA.

The names of the award recipients are announced in the spring for the following academic year (fall/spring). Scholarships are rarely extended beyond one year.
