Admissions

In addition to the admission requirements of the School of Information and the UT Austin Graduate School, the Certificate of Advanced Study in Conservation requires the following:

  • Successful completion of 2 semesters of general chemistry and 1 semester (including the lab) of organic chemistry
  • Submission of a portfolio preferably of three-dimensional work such as bookbinding, sculpture, or crafts of work that demonstrates manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination
  • Phone interview or in-person interview in Austin
