Class paper to be presented at the IS&T Archiving Conference

The paper "Archival Appraisal, Websites and DSpace TM", written by Anne Marie Donovan, Maria Esteva, Patricia Galloway, Addy Sonder, and Susan Trombley will be presented at the first IS&T (The Society for Imaging Science and Technology) Archiving Conference to take place in San Antonio April 20 - 23 of 2004. The presentation shows the results of the research on archiving the ISchool website undertaken by the class during the course "Problems in Permanent Retention of Electronic Records" taught by Dr. Patricia Galloway in the Spring of 2003.

The Archiving Conference 2004 will focus on long-term preservation and access of digital information. It brings together national and international experts from industry and cultural institutions such as the Research Libraries Group, the American Institute for Conservation, the Technical Association of the Graphic Arts, the Canadian Conservation Institute and the European Commission on Preservation and Access among others.
