Bill Lukenbill, professor, School of Information presented a poster session at the recent meeting of the International Federal of Library Associations (IFLA) meeting in Glasgow, Scotland. The session was entitled “Democracy and Local History: The Austin History Center" (Texas, U.S.A.) Based on his research, the presentation gave an overview of the philosophy, services, collections, and outreach program of the center. The center’s Assistant Library Services Manager is School of Information doctoral student Sue Soy.
