Dean Dillon and the School of Information Alumni Steering Committee invite you to attend the first annual Texas Book Festival Alumni Dinner, on Saturday November 16, 2002. Join your friends and classmates in a relaxed evening of excellent food and conversation. Discover where your classmates are working today, exchange stories about your perilous journey to your current position, discuss the great Texas Book Festival, and let us know what you would like to see in an alumni association for School of Information.
The gathering will take place at the University of Texas Club (on the 6th floor of the Darrell K. Royal/Texas Memorial Stadium), starting at 6:00 PM with a cash bar, followed by dinner at 7:00.
The menu includes:
- Longhorn salad with ranch or vinaigrette dressing
- Sautéed breast of chicken with lump crab meat, corn and cilantro sauce
- Strawberry shortcake
- Iced tea and coffee
Vegetarian meals may be provided upon request.
The cost is $25 per person and includes parking across the street in Parking Garage 5.

Instructions to the University of Texas Club:
- Take Manor Road Exit off of IH 35
- Turn west toward the University on Manor Rd. (It becomes Clyde Littlefield Dr at Red River)
- Turn left into Parking Garage 5 just before Robert Dedman Dr.
- UT Club entrance faces the Garage and Clyde Littlefield Drive.
- Enter the middle doors and the elevators are around to the left. Go to the 6th Floor.
Note: Bring your parking ticket with you so we can validate it (free parking)
